For optimal progress, we recommend attending karate classes at least twice a week. This frequency allows students to consistently build on their skills and techniques while providing enough time for rest and practice outside of class.

At Yogi's Karate Dojo, we primarily focus on the Shito-Ryu style of karate, known for its broad and comprehensive approach. This style allows students to experience a wide range of techniques and forms, making it suitable for all levels of interest and competition.

No prior martial arts experience is required to join Yogi's Karate Dojo. We offer programs for all skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced competitors.

For your first class, wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement, such as a T-shirt and sweatpants or shorts. Once you decide to continue, we can assist you in obtaining the traditional karate uniform
